Indian Cookery Classes

All our courses are hands on and nothing is more so than making bread. Bread is a staple of central and northern Indian cuisine and is made fresh in the home every day. Eating is also a hands on experience and breads are used to pick up food or mop up sauces. It’s tactile and sensual and a great way to really appreciate textures - but don’t worry forks are available!

We’ll be making our chapathis to accompany a lamb ‘rassa’, the typical Maharashtrian curry. We’ll also be exploring some of the more exotic Indian ingredients available, from vegetables to lentils, and making mouth-watering chutney.
